Desborough has a thriving social scene.

The club house is open almost every weekend of the year. There is sailing all year round and many members drop in for a social visit, even in the middle of winter. Even if you're not sailing it's a lovely location for a riverside picnic.

There is a well stocked bar and, in addition to the regular scheduled functions, members often hold impromptu barbecues during the summer.

We don't have any staff. All activities are planned and run by the members and you are welcome to get involved.

Members have organised lots of club events such as the annual Treasure Hunt/Fish & Chips evening, Rock on the River, Fireworks Night, Burns Night, and Remembrance Sunday.

We also get involved with local events such as Shepperton Fair where we provide marshalls and safety boat cover for the Raft Race.
