Cadet Points: How to earn points for your Team
BOWLINE,
CLOVEHITCH AND REEF
At
the end of each year the team with the most points will win the Cadet Shield,
which is presented at the end of the Spring Sailing Course, and is displayed
above the bar.
How
to win points
The
easiest way to earn points is to sail in a race – any race, with anyone and
you don’t even have to win!

Each
time you race at Desborough, the results will be put on the Race Results notice
board, and can also be seen on the sailing club website. Cadet points will then
be awarded. Team points will be updated monthly and can be seen on the cadet
notice board and the cadet section of the website.
If
you take part in an Open race away from Desborough let me know so that I can
include those events as well.
There
are other opportunities to earn points for your team at Desborough events.
